For the Injured & Disabled in Maryland

At Wilson & Parlett, representing injury victims is our only business. Since our personal injury attorneys in Maryland exclusively focus on auto, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and Social Security Claims, we have the knowledge and experience needed to get you a favorable resolution.

We are well versed in your rights and have the knowledge to help you fight and win. We have earned our reputation for tirelessly representing injury victims and will help you obtain the support and compensation to which you are entitled.

Insurance Companies Have Lawyers – So Should You

Insurance companies pay their adjusters to settle for the lowest amount of money possible. If the claimant says no, the insurance defense lawyers take over. You deserve to have a team of experienced Maryland personal injury lawyers on your side, too.

Wilson & Parlett can fight for you in your pursuit of the full compensation to which you are entitled. Our attorneys are passionate about making sure insurance companies play by the rules and fairly compensate our clients.

How Long Do I Have to File a Personal Injury Claim in Maryland?

According to the Maryland Courts & Judicial Proceedings Code section 5-101, the statute of limitations for personal injury cases is three years. The statute of limitations is a law imposed on a state level which dictates how long an injury victim has to file a claim before they lose their legal right to do so.

In other words, this means you have three years from the date of your accident to file your personal injury claim before you will lose your legal right to do so along with your legal right to recover compensation for your injuries.

There are some exceptions that can change this three-year time limit so it’s important to speak to an experienced attorney about your case as soon as possible. Our firm offers free, no-obligation consultations so you have nothing to lose by contacting Wilson & Parlett today.
