P. Jay Adams, Jr. was born and raised in Southern Maryland, where he graduated from Northern High School in Calvert County in 2005. He then attended University of Maryland, where he graduated with honors in 2009 and the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2012.
While in law school, Mr. Adams was an editor for the Journal of Land Use and Development, as well as president of the University of Baltimore Softball Club. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Adams served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Toni Clarke of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Maryland. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2012, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland in 2013, and the District of Columbia Bar in 2016.
Prior to joining Wilson & Parlett, Mr. Adams was a litigator representing clients in civil matters in the federal and state courts of Maryland and the United States Bankruptcy Court. He is a member of the Calvert County and Prince George's County Bar Associations.
